Health Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Ideal Complex Care. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. Your contributions will be vital to our mission of delivering exceptional care throughout East and West Sussex.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Support clients in achieving their health and personal goals through tailored care plans.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Document client progress and report any changes in condition to the nursing team.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in complex care.
• Drive to client locations as needed to provide home-based support.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a healthcare or home care setting is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
• A valid driving license is advantageous but not mandatory.
